Leeds ME Network

Leeds ME Network is a self help group for people with myalgic encephalomyelitis (also known as ME or ME/CFS) .

There is no charge for joining our mailing list or attending our meetings.

Our support group is run by volunteers, and is open to all those who have (or think they might have) ME/CFS. The meetings provide an opportunity to chat informally with others living with ME/CFS, to find out more about the condition and provide mutual support.

The group may also be of interest to people with Long COVID, as evidence suggests that the two conditions have many similarities.

Meet with others living with ME/CFS for a friendly chat. Family members, carers and friends are also welcome.

Our in-person meetings are currently at 1pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the John Lewis café (fourth floor) in central Leeds. This is an accessible building, with plenty of parking, accessible toilets and lifts, so suitable for wheelchair users and those using mobility scooters. During the warmer months, we also meet at Meanwood Park. There is parking including spaces for blue-badge holders. Meanwood Park Cafe.

We also run monthly online gatherings via Zoom. The Zooms are especially useful for those who aren’t well enough at the moment to attend our in-person meetings. Feel free to bring family members, carers and friends. See details and dates below.
